Keighla is one of my photographer friends and her story is incredibly heartwarming. Keighla’s sister, Shelbey, is a surrogate for Keighla and her husband, Paul. Without a doubt, God had a special plan for this baby to come into the world. This is truly a beautiful story and it fills my heart to follow their journey. For some of the pictures Shelbey had a shirt on that says “here comes happy”. How fitting is that? Shelbey is giving a beautiful gift, Keighla and Paul are going to be amazing parents, and the baby is already blessed with a great family. I would say that is a lot of happiness! It was so fun to capture Keighla and Shelbey’s undeniable sister bond, the happy smiles of everyone, and the love of the entire family that is beautiful inside and out. These surrogate maternity pictures were taken in Eden Prairie, MN. We had a beautiful sunset and outdoor country backdrop.
